The latest synthetic soil to be released is a silty soil standard (B2235), offering a standard with values that complement the existing range. The table below summarizes the synthetic soils range so far.
The synthetic process provides multiple benefits to customers, including ingredient composition tailored to the needs of the scientific community. Creating synthetic soils leads to improved consistency across consecutive batches, compared to collected soils. Synthetic soils are also not subject to the same export/import legislation and control as irradiated natural soil, which simplifies restrictions for hassle-free worldwide shipping.
